Yesterday’s Bluejays Is 2021 Alumni Theme

Here Ye Here Ye!!! Yesterday’s Bluejays the Pierce High Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, June 26.
Below is a schedule for the banquet, pep rally and parade:
11:00 a.m.—Sign in and socialize at the Pierce Pavilion (fairgrounds).
11:30 a.m.—Meal provided by Legion Lounge and Backroom Steakhouse.
2:30 p.m.—Line up at Pierce fairgrounds.
3:00 p.m.—Parade ***Battle of the Eras following the Parade.
Due to the Pandemic all events were cancelled last year. The Pierce High Alumni Association is planning to double the fun in 2021 and honor years ending in 0, 1, 5, and 6. Our retro theme of Yesterday’s Bluejays encourages you to dress as you did during your senior year and decorate your floats accordingly. It is suggested that your class buddies up with another honor year, example 1975/1976, 1980/1981, etc. Class summaries will be given at the banquet. Please keep in mind we are hosting twice the size and the summaries will need to be brief.
In lieu of individual class skits we are planning “BATTLE OF THE ERAS.” The Alumni Association is organizing the games and will provide all items necessary.
Since 2018, the Alumni Association has awarded $250 scholarships to two members of the Pierce High graduating class. In an effort to raise money for the scholarship fund, in lieu of selling raffle tickets as we did in the past, monetary donations will be accepted at the banquet and pep rally.
The information for the upcoming Alumni festivities is posted on the Pierce High Alumni page along with a link to the letter outlining the day’s activities. Class representatives, please contact Rachele Pospisil so information can be sent to you or if you obtained the information off of Facebook let us know that as well so we can mark you off on our contact list.
Classes of 1970, 1971, 2020 and 2021 will be receiving a separate notification.
We look forward to seeing you on June 26 — what a perfect way to kick off the Pierce 150th Celebration!
