Historical Society Museum Opening This Sunday

The Pierce Historical Society Museum will open for the summer season this coming Sunday, June 7. The museum, located in Gilman Park, will be open Sunday’s this summer from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The Museum is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this summer. Special events are being planned throughout the summer.
Those include: Presentation on the “Mills of Northeast Nebraska” by Harv Ofe, Superintendent of Neligh Mills on Sunday, June 28; display of the “The Real Women of Northeast Nebraska” in July; hosting a Chamber Coffee & Connections on Friday, July 10; Military Celebration Day, day and time to be determined; and a 50th birthday party, day and time to be determined.
As always, the Historical Society is looking for volunteers to greet our guests this summer. Grab your family, friends or co-workers and create a group that would be hosts at the museum. Contact Sheryl Buss at 402-329-6761 to volunteer.
